AMP is proud to announce the launch of the Palestine Solidarity Legal Support intake system and website

The American Muslims for Palestine, as part of the Student Speech Working Group, along with the National Lawyers Guild and Center for Constitutional Rights, today is pleased to announce the launch of the Palestine Legal Support network, a resource for solidarity activists and students who find themselves under attack for advocating for Palestinian human rights.

To all Palestinian rights activists in the US:

The Center for Constitutional Rights - in collaboration with the National Lawyers Guild, the Student Speech Working Group* and others - is working to ensure that Palestinian rights activists have the legal support they need to exercise their First Amendment rights and continue organizing. Contact us to request legal advice, to seek advocacy support, or to report incidents of repression.

Please contact us if you:

• Face attempts to shut down, smear or hamper your activism
• Believe your First Amendment rights to organize and protest have been violated
• Need legal advice about BDS or other campaigns
• Experience verbal or physical intimidation or assault
• Experience different treatment than other groups on campus
• Have questions about your rights to engage in activism
• We are tracking incidents of repression – big and small.

* The Student Speech Working Group is a coalition of civil rights organizations and lawyers, legal workers, students, and other groups and individuals dedicated to supporting the free speech of students advocating for Palestinian rights, and other Muslim and Arab student activists. The coalition includes the Asian Law Caucus, the Center for Constitutional Rights, the National Lawyers Guild, the Council on American-Islamic Relations – San Francisco Bay Area, American Muslims for Palestine, Jewish Voice for Peace, and other individual lawyers and students.
