Media director appointed to CIOGC board

Kristin Szremski, national director of media and communications, was appointed to the Board of Directors for the Council of Islamic Organizations of Greater Chicago, an umbrella group of more than 60 mosques and Islamic institutions. CIOGC is the unifying force that brings together more than 400,000 Muslim Americans in the greater Chicago region, and now increasingly all of Illinois. “This is a great honor and I look forward to helping to serve our community,” Szremski said.
