Occupier Israel has no business bombing Syria

(CHICAGO 05/06/2013) – The American Muslims for Palestine, a national grassroots organization educating Americans about Palestine and its rich cultural and historical heritage, categorically condemns Israel’s attacks on Syria in recent days.

AMP also condemns Syrian President Bashar Al-Asaad and his regime for their relentless and deadly assault on their own people. We assert that Israel, as the occupier of Palestine and the Syrian Golan Heights, has no business and no right to bomb yet another Arab land. Instead, AMP calls on the United Nations and international community to intervene to halt Bashar and his genocidal attacks on his fellow countrymen, who are so valiantly struggling for freedom and democracy.

Israel is an aggressor nation and is serving its own interests, ultimately ensuring its continued occupation of the Golan Heights and Palestine, through its use of immense air power. The international community must remember Israel’s position as an occupier and demand it cease all such airstrikes.
