Contact Congress to demand an immediate arms embargo on the apartheid state!

After an extensive investigation, Amnesty International released a report officially declaring that Israel is committing apartheid against Palestinians. Israel’s Apartheid against Palestinians: Cruel System of Domination and Crime against Humanity concludes that the consistent demolitions of Palestinian properties, unlawful killings, forcible transfer, movement restrictions, and the denial of nationality and citizenship to Palestinians make up a system of apartheid.

Amnesty International's report is not the first to conclude that Israel is an apartheid state. Last year, two reputable human rights organizations, an Israeli one, B'Tselem, and an international one, Human Rights Watch, arrived at the same conclusion. Palestinian human rights groups have used the term apartheid for decades. In fact, the UN Human Rights Council is considering labeling Israel as an apartheid state as well.

Israel must be held accountable for its crime of apartheid against Palestinians, and the US must take part in holding its authorities accountable. American Muslims for Palestine calls on Congress to immediately suspend ALL US aid to Israel and investigate the credible reports.
